An electrofusion saddle is a type of fitting used for joining polyethylene (PE) pipes through electrofusion welding technique. It is designed as a "saddle" shape, meaning it wraps around the existing pipe and makes a connection to a new pipe via an electrofusion coupling. The electrofusion process involves heating the inside surface of the fitting and the outside surface of the pipe simultaneously using an electrical current.
